Well, I’ve got a busy month in May coming up going to lay my brother‘s ashes at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, Missouri and at the same time I’ll lay my sister‘s ashes with her beloved husband, Jim Kelly. And then at the end of May, we will have a life celebration for my sister, Trudy Biswell Kelly thanks for your attention.

On my right is the great Grandson of the owner of Jimmy’s jigger 39th and Stateline . Jimmy was the owner in the 1950s up until the 90s his grandson took over the responsibility in the 2000s my understanding he name is Timmy  Bower had some real cool stories.

Good news .

Raphael Mechoulam, the brilliant Israeli chemist who passed away in 2023, is celebrated as the "Godfather of Cannabis" for his foundational research that transformed our understanding of the plant.

1964: Isolated THC & CBD. Mechoulam was the first to successfully isolate and identify THC (the psychoactive compound) and CBD (the non-psychoactive compound). His work laid the groundwork for all modern cannabis science.

Discovered the Endocannabinoid System. His research also led to the discovery of the endocannabinoid system (ECS) in the human body—a vast network of receptors that regulates everything from pain and mood to memory and appetite.

Pioneered the "Entourage Effect." Mechoulam’s work helped explain the "entourage effect," showing that all the compounds in the cannabis plant work together to produce a more powerful effect than any single compound alone.

Mechoulam's legacy has been pivotal in shifting the conversation about cannabis from a stigmatized drug to a promising field of scientific and medical research.
