Theatre Changed History

Throughout history, Black theatre has been a powerful form of resistance.

Long before many voices were welcomed in mainstream entertainment, Black playwrights and performers used the stage to celebrate culture, confront injustice, preserve history, and imagine a better future.

Theatre has always been more than entertainment.
It has been education.
It has been activism.
It has been community.

Thank you for helping BRTKC continue that tradition.
