We have a bittersweet announcement to make.

Many of you have followed along with us, over the past 5 years, when Amyann and I (Amy) merged our two separate event floral businesses into one: Daylight Flora. After 5 years of building together, Amyann has made the difficult but timely decision to move on from Daylight Flora and give herself fully to her family. It is bitter-sweet to say the least. She will be greatly missed by us all. While our business partnership is ending, I will forever be thankful for the sisterhood and bond that we’ve shared over the past 5 years. We truly wish her nothing but the best.

Daylight Flora will remain as constant and present as ever in the Kansas City wedding and event world, moving forward with Amy as the sole owner and leader of our amazing team.

Things we’ve learned from Amyann that will remain a core part of our Daylight Flora DNA:
1. Details are where the delight is found.
2. Be nice to grumpy people.
3. Assume the best and that everything will work out ok.
4. Unreasonable Hospitality
5. Carry sunshine everywhere you go.

Thank you to our online community, clients, friends, family and vendor colleagues for coming this far. We invite you to come along with us into our next chapter.
