Wondering what to wear to a wedding? Let’s break down the most common dress codes so you can show up looking confident and appropriate. 👇

👔 Black Tie:
This is the most formal. Think elegant evening wear.
👗 Women: Floor-length gowns, dressy cocktail dresses, or elegant pantsuits.
🤵‍♂️ Men: A tuxedo is expected (black bow tie, black shoes, and a white shirt).

💃 Formal / Black Tie Optional:
Still classy, but with more flexibility.
👗 Women: Long dresses or upscale midi dresses.
🤵‍♂️ Men: A tux is great, but a dark suit and tie is perfectly acceptable.

🍸 Semi-Formal :
A step down from formal but still stylish.
👗 Women: Cocktail dresses, jumpsuits, or dressy separates.
🤵‍♂️ Men: Suit and tie, lighter colors okay depending on time of day.

🌸 Cocktail :
Usually for daytime or outdoor weddings.
👗 Women: Sundresses, maxi dresses, or chic skirts and tops.
