Last week was a week to help us remember why we do what we do. While doing a catering breakfast, a guest walked into our cafe to order her breakfast on the way to work. She said, "I know you probably don't remember me, but you saved my wedding 3 years ago, and people still talk about how good the food was." It took a moment to remember, but Lauren found out DAYS before her wedding that the venue had double booked her date and she was going to have a Friday wedding instead of a Saturday wedding, and lost her caterer in the rescheduling. We were able to step in and apparently made enough of an impact that her guests still mention us ๐ฅฐ
This past weekend we were able to be a part of 2 more weddings. We were able to help Aldyn with a last minute rehearsal dinner, and Kelsey with her wedding. Some days we get lost in the grind of smashing the endless supply of potatoes, wiping the grease laden sweat out of our eyes, or responding to the 37th email of the day. But it's weeks like this that help us remember that we're a part of peoples memories, whether big or small; that there is another side of our service that we don't see, impacting lives one taco and bun at a time. Thank you for letting us be part of your story.
