Heart of America DanceSport Championships A wonderful dancesport competition taking place every August in Kansas City! Heart of America provides great pro/am, amateur and professional dancing events.

The 45th annual Heart of America Championships will be held August 8-11th, 2018 in downtown Kansas City. It is one of the longest running NDCA ballroom competitions in the United States and a proud member of the Dancers Cup Tour. Fourteen dance couples from the studio are crossing the state this weekend for competition at the Heart of America DanceSport Championships in Kansas City. Altogether, the team will compete in ballroom, swing, and club styles in amateur, pro/am, and professional divisions from Thursday morning through Saturday evening.
