A wonderful dancesport competition taking place every August in Kansas City! Heart of America provides great pro/am, amateur and professional dancing events.

The 45th annual Heart of America Championships will be held August 8-11th, 2018 in downtown Kansas City. It is one of the longest running NDCA ballroom competitions in the United States and a proud member of the Dancers Cup Tour. In addition to the great competition you can also take part in dance seminars with some of the top coaches in the country, watch the professional events on Friday and Sat

3. Enjoy our spectacular Hot Summer Nightclub night! Dress to impress and enjoy our special night where we turn our ballroom into a music club. Our DJ will play some of your favorites songs accompanied by their music videos playing on our big screen. A truly unique nightclub experience!

4. Shopping is right next store. The Crown Center is home to the famous Hallmark Department store and more. Connected directly to our hotel.

5. The perfect place to get ready for USDC. It's a great opportunity to fine tune your dance moves as your prepare for US Nationals just a couple weeks away. Michelle & Eric Hudson, the organizers of the Heart of America, always used this competition as one of their final stops to ready themselves when they were competing at USDC!
