**❤️ A Letter From My Heart ❤️**

I have always believed that if you work hard enough, you can overcome anything.

For years, that's exactly what we've done.

We've worked long days, late nights, holidays, birthdays, and weekends because Lilly's has never been just a business to us. It has been our family's dream, our livelihood, and a place where so many of you have become family.

The road construction has impacted us more than we ever imagined. We have done everything we know to do to keep moving forward, but today, I'm choosing faith over fear.

I'm asking our community for help.

Today we're starting the **100 Friends of Lilly's Challenge.**

I'm looking for **100 people who believe in Lilly's** and are willing to give **$100** to help us keep our doors open.

This isn't an investment in a building.

It's an investment in a family.

It's an investment in local jobs.

It's an investment in a place where birthdays have been celebrated, first dates have happened, friendships have been made, and memories have been created.

If Lilly's has ever been a place that made you smile, served you a great meal, prayed with you, celebrated with you, or simply made you feel at home, I'm asking you to stand with us today.

Kindness costs nothing, but it means everything. 🤍

One thing I’ve learned after working weddings is this:
Wedding vendors are human.

We pour our hearts into your day. We spend months preparing, coordinating, communicating, and doing everything we can to create an incredible experience. We celebrate with you, problem-solve behind the scenes, and often carry stress you’ll never even see.

But we’re still human.
Mistakes can happen.

Weddings are live events, not movie sets. Timelines shift, weather changes, vendors encounter traffic, equipment malfunctions, and sometimes things simply don’t go exactly as planned.

Perfection doesn’t exist.

What every vendor hopes for is a couple who leads with kindness and grace—just as we strive to do for you.
Accountability matters. Professionalism matters. But so does compassion.

The way we speak to one another in stressful moments matters. Kindness doesn’t erase mistakes, but it creates space for solutions instead of conflict.

At the end of the day, your wedding isn’t remembered because every single detail was flawless. It’s remembered because of the love that filled the room and the people who came together to celebrate it.
Let’s continue creating an industry where couples, families, and vendors treat one another with respect, patience, and kindness.

Because that’s something everyone will remember. 🤍

Support LOCAL!!!!!!!!!!

This is the hardest post we've ever had to write, but we need your help.

When we opened Battle Axes on Main, we didn't just open an axe throwing venue. We invested in downtown Belton because we believe Main Street can become a destination. We partnered with local businesses, hosted community events, welcomed families, celebrated birthdays, built team experiences, and tried to create a place where memories are made.

We've done everything we know how to do.

We've advertised. We've run specials. We've hosted events. We've partnered with other small businesses. We’e dropped prices from $30 to $20 an hour. We've spent countless hours trying to bring people to Main Street because we truly believe our downtown deserves to thrive.

But the reality is... it hasn't been enough.

Today we're facing the possibility that we may not be able to pay our rent or our insurance. We have exhausted every option we know of to keep going.

We're not sharing this because we want pity.

We're sharing it because so many people have told us, *"We've been wanting to come in!"* If that's you, we're asking you not to wait.

Come throw this weekend.

Bring your family. Bring your friends. Book a date night. Challenge your coworkers. Buy a gift card if you can't make it. Share this post with someone who has never been here.

Every single booking matters right now.

If the community wants Battle Axes on Main to stay, we need your help today—not someday.

And if this chapter does come to an end, we want you to know that serving this community has been one of the greatest privileges of our lives. We have loved every birthday, every first bullseye, every laugh, every celebration, and every person who has walked through our doors.
