We want to address an internal review we received today connected to a delivery order from May 28.
The customer shared that they chose not to eat their lunch because of something a third-party delivery driver told them about our restaurant during delivery.
Unfortunately, the customer did not have the full context. Prior to this review being posted, we had already reported an issue with this driver to the ordering platform after the driver became upset during pickup, did not follow our designated catering pickup instructions, and handled the order carelessly.
The claim the customer reported from the delivery driver about our restaurant is false and extremely damaging. Food safety, cleanliness, and customer trust are things we take very seriously.
Because this involves a third-party delivery driver and a serious false statement about our business, we are handling it through the proper channels and providing documentation, including video footage and records, to support the investigation.
We felt it was important to address this because false claims can harm a small business. We are grateful for the customers who know our standards, our care, and the work we put into every order.
