In 2022 I spent a week in Paris. My first flower shop job had ended when the company closed, and I was unsure what my future looked like. I’d fallen in love with the art of floristry and desperately wanted to incorporate into my life again, but my options felt so limited. While in Paris I visited every flower shop I came across, soaking in the beauty and familiarity. I missed the mess on the floor from working with flowers and the way it felt like home. I took this photo in a small flower shop between two iconic Paris streets, just dreaming of when I might one day be able to own my own flower shop. I had no idea how close I was to fulfilling that dream and all the ways it would help heal me. Just a few months later, in a serendipitous whirlwind of paperwork and impulse, I opened Sunday Morning Flowers ❤️ While that time in my life felt so chaotic, I love looking back and seeing how it all fell into place even during the chaos. ✨💐
