Allow me to reintroduce myself.

I’m Shannon, owner/operator of The Looking Glass Photo Booth.

When I’m not behind a camera or hauling a photo gear to an event, I’m usually outside doing something hard: whitewater kayaking, backcountry skiing, hunting, fishing, peak-bagging, diving or traveling somewhere that gives me an excuse to explore. I’m a Divemaster, volunteer as a recovery diver for search and rescue, and I’ve spent a lot of my life guiding, teaching, leading and helping people learn new things, often in the outdoors.

I also love working with my hands, renovating my house, making things, solving problems and finding a creative way to pull an idea together.

Which is probably why this little business fits me so well.

I get to build things, create things, troubleshoot on the fly, meet a lot of interesting people and occasionally encourage grown adults to put on ridiculous sunglasses and cut loose.

And after all of that, I’m perfectly happy disappearing home to work on a project, read a book and enjoy some quiet time with my people.

Anyhoo, great to meet you! I just wanted to share a nugget about who is behind the scenes of this growing business and I would be honored to help make your next celebration a little more special. I work hard to make each event custom for you.

Montana is a beautiful destination for visitors and it’s not lost on me that I get to call this place home.

Sometimes I have to force myself to leave the computer screen because summer just flies by!
