Spring by the numbers at Two Kays Flower Farm 🌱

This spring we added 15 new rows, expanded the farm by 6,820 square feet, and installed more than 10,000 feet of irrigation line.

We planted 4,000+ dahlia tubers, 2,500+ snapdragons, over 1,000 gladiolus bulbs, and nearly 3,000 new perennials. We also tucked 256 biennials into the ground for the 2027 season and added 125 new woody bushes to the farm.

Somewhere between moving a hoop house, surviving 30+ days of rain, and ruining 7 manicures… summer started taking shape.

This year also marks 106 years of our family farming this land.

And maybe the sweetest addition of all?

One grandbaby expected this summer 🤍

Thank you for following along and supporting our little family flower farm. Summer blooms are almost here.

TWO KAYS// There’s something especially magical about a June elopement in Glacier National Park — the mountains still holding onto snow, the long golden evenings, and the first peonies of the season beginning to bloom. 🌸

These two chose to celebrate their love surrounded by some of Montana’s wildest beauty, carrying locally grown peonies from our family flower farm. Soft, romantic, fleeting — the kind of flowers that make June weddings feel like pure magic.

If you’re planning a 2026 or 2027 wedding or elopement and dreaming of florals that feel seasonal, garden-inspired, and deeply connected to Montana, we would love to be part of your story. Whether you’re exchanging vows in Glacier, beside a lake, or under the big Montana sky, our flowers are grown right here on our family farm with the seasons in mind.

Our June weddings often feature peonies, iris, campanula, feverfew, and other early summer blooms — all designed in our signature romantic garden style. ✨

2026 dates are already beginning to fill, and we are now welcoming 2027 inquiries as well. Reach out through the contact form on our website to start the conversation. 💕

Peony season on the farm is one of the most fleeting parts of summer — a few short weeks where the fields swell with blooms, the mountains still hold snow, and the air smells sweet long after sunset. 🌸

Every year we wait for Mother Nature to decide when the show begins. Warm days, cool nights, spring storms — they all shape the bloom window. That’s why our peony u-picks work through a voucher system rather than fixed dates.

Voucher holders receive:
• first access to choose their picking session
• updates straight from the field as the peonies begin to open
• an invitation into one of the most magical seasons on the farm

Think overflowing buckets, muddy boots, golden evening light, and armfuls of peonies gathered straight from the field. 💕

If peony season has been on your summer bucket list, now is the time to claim your voucher before the bloom window arrives.

BLOOM// There’s something quietly magical about Love-in-a-Mist ‘Miss Jekyll Alba.’

Soft white blooms float above the foliage like tiny clouds, while the feathery greenery gives the plant that wild, storybook feeling we’re always chasing in the garden. She may look delicate, but this variety is one of the hardest working spring bloomers on the farm—adding movement, texture, and a little bit of whimsy to bouquets.

One of our favorite details? The seed pods that follow the flowers are just as beautiful as the blooms themselves. Nature really understood the assignment with this one.

You’ll start spotting ‘Miss Jekyll Alba’ tucked into market bouquets from the stand this season—bringing that airy, romantic touch that makes arrangements feel like they were gathered straight from an old cottage garden. 🤍

Spring on a flower farm isn’t just flowers. It’s muddy knees, irrigation leaks, storm watching, planting trees for future generations, and checking dahlias like they’re family. And honestly? I wouldn’t trade it for anything. 🌱⛰️

WEDDING & ELOPEMENTS// Some of the best wedding flowers we’ve ever created didn’t start with a color palette.

They started with a story.

A couple who got engaged on a trail in Glacier National Park.
A bride who wanted something joyful, colorful, and a little wild.
A groom whose favorite color inspired an accent, even if Mother Nature had other plans.
A love story built on adventure, quiet moments, and choosing each other again and again.

That’s how we approach flowers here at Two Kays Flower Farm.

We’re not interested in copying the same bouquet over and over.

We grow what the season gives us here in the Flathead Valley—field-grown flowers full of movement, texture, scent, and personality—and then we design around you.

Your story.
Your season.
Your colors.
Your kind of beautiful.

Because your wedding flowers shouldn’t feel mass-produced.

They should feel like your love story.

We’re currently booking remaining 2026 weddings and beginning conversations with 2027 couples.

If you’re dreaming of farm-grown wedding flowers in Montana, we’d love to hear your story.

BLOOM// Country Dance Iris

Not every flower whispers… some know how to make an entrance.

This week in the fields, Iris ‘Country Dance’ is finally showing off—ruffled petals, rich movement, and those painterly tones that make you stop mid-walk. It’s one of those blooms that feels almost too pretty to be real.

We’ll be tucking these gems into our fresh market bouquets at the stand while they’re in bloom—so if you’ve been craving something a little extra special for your kitchen table, now’s the time. Mother Nature decides how long they stay.

If dahlias are on your garden wish list… this is it.

Our farm-grown dahlia tubers are in the stand for one final weekend before we tuck this season away. Once they’re gone, you’ll need to wait until next year to plant varieties from our family farm.

Swing by the stand, grab your favorites, and give your summer garden something worth talking about. 🌸

Every year, peony season arrives… and disappears just as quickly.

Here in the Flathead Valley, our field-grown Peonies usually give us just a few beautiful weeks of bloom in June—and Mother Nature calls the shots.

That’s exactly why we created our peony u-pick vouchers.

Instead of guessing bloom dates months in advance, voucher holders get:

🌸 First access to available u-pick dates
🌸 A 15-stem peony bouquet gathered by you
🌸 An evening surrounded by six generations of Montana farmland
🌸 The chance to experience one of the shortest flower seasons of the year

Once our peonies begin to open, voucher holders are the first to receive the email to choose their date.

If peonies have been on your summer bucket list… this is your sign.

2026 peony vouchers are available now.
