Rentalex is a full service rental company located in Kalamazoo, Michigan and servicing all of Southwest Michigan. We realize that your event says a lot about you and are trained to work with you to make your corporate event, wedding, graduation or party unforgettable regardless of size or budget. We offer a

large selection of tents, tables, chairs, linens, china, and catering equipment. We are not just your average company who drops off your rentals and leaves. We can be as involved as you would like us to be, from free Consultations including site checks to full set up the day of the event , Rentalex is dedicated to making your event a success. Leave the details to us so you can enjoy yourself and your guests. Please ask if you do not see an item in stock that you need for your event. We will try to accommodate all requests or direct you to who can. Our tent rentals range from 10x10 to 40x140. We have solid white tents, clear top frame tent, as well as striped pole tents for every type of event. We can provide setup for any tent as well as provide smaller over the counter tents which you may set up yourself. They are professionally cleaned each season as well as between events to ensure top quality. Our chair rentals include a beige metal folding chair, a white metal folding chair, a white wood with pad, natural wood with pad, and a gold charvari chair with ivory pad. We also carry bar stools and high chairs. All of our higher end chairs come bagged for extra protection. Our table rentals include 6 ft banquet, 8 ft banquet, farm tables, round reception tables from 30 inches up to 72 inches as well as cocktail tables. We have linens to fit every size. Rentalex is equipped with emergency tents complete with heat, lighting, power, hard wood doors and no flap sidewalls which can be setup within 24 hours. Call for quote today!

A little haze won’t stop us… but it does slow us down. 🌫️

Days like today mean our crew is working through extremely poor air quality, so we’re taking extra water breaks, rotating tasks, and keeping a close eye on everyone. Their safety comes first, always.

At the same time, we know your event doesn’t pause because the forecast changed. We’re doing everything we can to stay on schedule while making smart decisions for the people doing the heavy lifting.

Thanks for your patience (and maybe send a little extra appreciation to the crew if you see them today, they’ve definitely earned it) 💛

Guests enjoyed delicious bites from Cluck & Moo Food Truck, cooled off with sweet treats from , and sipped on two signature cocktails: a refreshing Margarita and a Bourbon Smash.

Before you book a tent, read this 👇

One of the biggest misconceptions in event planning is that tent size is based on guest count alone.

The reality? Every event uses space differently. Tables, chairs, dance floors, bars, buffets, staging, and lounge areas all impact the size tent you’ll need. Two events with the same guest count can require completely different tent layouts.

The event site matters, too. Slopes, trees, access points, and underground utilities can all influence the tent size, style, and placement options available. That’s why we take the time to understand both your event vision and the space itself, sometimes through a site visit when needed.

A tent that’s too small feels crowded. A tent that’s too large can feel empty and cost more than necessary.
