At , the custom wedding dress process is an adventure into the creative process of design and dressmaking. I love working together with the bride to bring their vision to life. When we create a custom dress it becomes this gradual reveal of the bride, their personality shining through every stitch, embellishment, and fabric choice. It’s beautiful to get to know the bride throughout this process and to truly create the dress of their dreams! ✨

What many brides don’t know is that when you buy a wedding dress you will most likely need some sort of alterations done to your dress. We love getting to work with our elopement couples! It is so exciting to hear about their elopement adventures, from sandy beaches, to lush jungles, to the incomparable Amalfi coast in Italy. On this very intimate and special day, we make sure our brides feel absolutely beautiful and confident in their dress and their skin. 💕 -

Aloha everyone! 🌺 My name is Jennifer Oberg () and I will be taking over the Maui Wedding Creatives instagram page this week! I am so excited to join this collective of talented wedding vendors.

Here is a bit about me… My creative journey in the art of design and fashion has taken me to the East coast, the West Coast, Hollywood, Maui, Colorado, and back to Maui. I have worked in opera, theater, film, and the wedding industry. I love the art of design and creating handmade garments, especially dresses. I have been creating, designing, and sewing for over 30 years now. What a joy it is to follow what you love!

I am passionate about helping my clients to feel their absolute best on their wedding day. I love tailoring the wedding dress process uniquely to each of my clients. My goal is to create the dream wedding experience and to bring life to the dress of your dreams! My Atelier is located in upcountry Maui and I have a wonderful team I work together with. We specialize in custom-made couture wedding gowns, wedding gown redesign, bridal alterations, dressmaking, alterations for the wedding party, and wedding day services.

Apart from dressmaking, I run the community organization, , where a group of volunteer sewists come together to sew various projects for the Maui community (masks, blankets, shorts, bags, etc.). During my freetime, I love spending time with my husband Craig. 💕

February is here and it is the month of love. One if our favorite occasions to create a luxe picnic for is an elopement. There is not a more intimate way of entering a lifelong alliance than a day focused on just the two lovers.
