Good Morning everyone. It has been a while since we last opened up in Justin. The dream is to still make Justin our home spot.
Here is where we are at right now. In June of 2021 I closed Smokey’s BBQ our brick and mortar is was just not working anymore. We were still catering and setting up another food truck to go that route. I ran into road blocks and set backs. That’s when my pastor Lakeland Street Baptist Church approached me about taking over the maintenance at the church. I needed a job and was still going to be able to work the food truck. So that’s what has been our family’s life line these past few years. At this moment I am still working on the new floors at the church. This project requires all my time. GOD knows what is best for me in this life right now. In years past I would have not listened to GOD and screwed things up like I have done most of my life. As of today about half the flooring is done with the offices left. Which they will prove to be a challenge. My plans are to complete these tasks and get back to running the food truck in Justin. I am very blessed and thankful that GOD and our church have been there for my family during this season of rebuilding and learning. I am grateful. Also a big shout out to Lupe Lucio my brother in law from A-1 Custom Flooring for all the help he has provided during this project. Thank you all and I look forward to returning to Justin soon
