The barn at Whispering Oaks is made from re-purposed materials!

- The massive log poles that holds the structure up once held up the Lake Townsend Pier in Browns Summit, NC
- Lumber used to build the roof was reclaimed from a local bridge in Julian, NC.
- Metal roof supports were once holding up the roof of a furniture factory in Liberty, NC.
- Trees that were cut down on the property, were used to produce the lumber that served as building material to create the custom-made benches, table tops, and entrance sign.
