Mr Clark’s Update!!!

We know things have been a little quieter lately on the Mr. Clark’s page and honestly that’s because a lot has been happening behind the scenes.

This has never been something we wanted to rush just to say we opened we’ve been taking time to build something that truly represents our family, our passion for food, and the kind of experience we want people to have when they support Mr. Clark’s.

What started as a vision around great BBQ and catering has continued growing into something much bigger. We want this place to feel like more than just somewhere to grab food we want it to feel like community, family, consistency, and quality every single time someone walks through the door or books us for an event.

There’s been a lot of planning, improving, testing, preparing, and working behind the scenes to make sure when things fully open up they open the right way. We’ve been focused on building systems, improving operations, developing menu ideas, planning future specials, expanding catering opportunities, and creating something built to last long term here in Joplin.

No matter what comes our way we’re going to keep pushing forward and continue building this vision. Every business journey comes with challenges, delays, and obstacles, but we truly believe in what we’re creating and we’re more motivated than ever for what’s ahead.

We also want to genuinely thank every single person that has continued supporting us through all of this whether you’ve booked catering, came out to pop ups, shared our posts, recommended us to someone, sent encouraging messages, or simply followed along with the journey it all means more than you know. The support from this community has kept us motivated every step of the way!

We’re still here.
We’re still building.
And we’re getting closer every week.

Big things are coming for Mr. Clark’s and we can’t wait to bring everybody along for the journey!

We just want to take a moment and say thank you to everyone for the support it truly means a lot to us!

We’ve been getting a lot of work done behind the scenes and making real progress toward everything coming together we’ll have some progress photos to share with you all soon.

In the meantime we’re still actively taking catering orders. Whether you need box lunches, private event catering, or dinners we’d love to take care of you!

We’re also working on bringing weekly dinner packages to the community. If that’s something you’d be interested in drop a comment and let us know!

We’re heading into the final stretch getting everything ready for our full opening in May.

Over the next few weeks we’re going to be working hard behind the scenes to make sure everything is dialed in the right way. Because of that there won’t be any pop ups during this time.

That being said we want to hear from you.

What are some things you’d love to see on the menu? Any favorites you’re hoping stick around or something new you’ve been wanting us to try? Even down to the flow of ordering, seating, or overall experience we’re open to ideas.

We’re building this for the community so your input matters.

We want to take a moment to sincerely honor and thank Ozark Christian College and JoiCo.

It is never lost on us what it means to be trusted to serve in spaces that are shaping lives, building leaders, and impacting the Community in a real way. What you’re doing goes far beyond an event or a meal, it’s meaningful, lasting work… and it’s something we deeply respect.

To be invited into that, even in a small way, is an honor we don’t take lightly.

Quick update from Mr. Clark’s:

There will be no pop ups this week as we’ve got multiple construction crews in and out getting everything ready we appreciate everyone’s patience and support more than we can say.

We can’t stress it enough… come May, we’ll have all of our features open and ready to go we’re working hard behind the scenes to make it worth the wait!

Also, we’re getting close to our 3K giveaway and once we hit it we’ll be announcing our 5K giveaway right after.

We are still taking office catering orders so if you and your coworkers are needing a solid meal let us know. We’d be happy to get something delivered and take care of you!
