Let me be honest, I'm struggling with Story's social media lately partly because we have been BUSY! A little Story Rentals/Spencer family update:
🗓So many many events in Story's event space. We had our biggest month yet and things don't seem to be slowing down. Most weekends are booked with 2-3 events on Saturday and full days for Sunday (probably cause Sunday is a bit cheaper for the full day!!). I stopped taking content of bookings (once baby girl arrived, it's just too much😅) for the time being so our social has been a little dead, but the space itself is busier than ever. Baby showers, birthday parties, rehearsal dinners, professional gatherings – we are booked solid through August so yeah, if you're considering an upcoming booking please reach out sooner rather than later because the fall is starting to fill up!
🥰Our newest family member - "team" probably isn't accurate since all little girl contributes is a cute face and bonding moments with guests. 😆 It was so special to have our own baby shower at Story back in May and now little girl goes up there with me to clean and to show guests around.
✨New project! I've teased this a bit after sharing that we bought an apartment complex a few months ago - but not just any apartments. These apartments are super funky/cool in the West End neighborhood and have a fun factor that made us want to turn one into a short-term rental. The unit had a hiccup right off the bat that called for renovations (that we were kinda planning on anyway) but we're about to enter the fun part: outfitting it. I'll share some more details because before and afters are fun, and we will have a shortcut way for those familiar with Story to book it directly through us rather than booking sites!
🥂Our own fun. We truly love Story. We love that it hosts special celebrations, that it provides for our family, and we love the space itself. We use it ourselves for playdates, date night, and just hanging out. This helps us see Story from the position of the guest too, so that we can work on making improvements that give guests a better experience.
We're looking forward to new chapters and our growing Story - thanks for being part of it!
