The Georgia Department of Education has officially released the 2025 College and Career Ready Performance Index (CCRPI), and once again, Kay R. Pace School of the Arts stands out as a beacon of excellence—proving that a strong foundation in both the arts and academics truly sets our scholars apart.

The CCRPI evaluates how well schools across Georgia are helping students learn, grow, and achieve through four key components: Content Mastery, Progress, Closing Gaps, and Readiness.

With the release of the state report cards, Kay R. Pace School of the Arts is proud to have earned top marks, outperforming peers across Georgia. Our scholars continue to demonstrate impressive growth—driven by the expertise of our dedicated teachers, the partnership of our supportive families, and the shared commitment of our entire school community to Inspiring Greatness each and every day.

At Kay R. Pace School of the Arts, excellence is never accidental—it’s the product of passion, perseverance, and purpose. Our scholars are not only meeting expectations but redefining them, setting new standards of success for schools across Georgia. With every milestone, they remind us that when creativity and academics unite, greatness follows.

Together, we are proving that at Pace, the arts don’t just complement academics—they elevate them.

🎉 Big News 🎉

We’re thrilled to announce that Kay R. Pace has been recognized by the Georgia Department of Education as both a 2024–2025 Literacy Leader and Math Leader School! 🏆

This incredible honor celebrates schools demonstrating exceptional growth and achievement in reading and math on the Georgia Milestones — and we’re proud to say:

✨ We’re the ONLY elementary school in Clayton County to receive the Math Leader Award
✨ And one of only three elementary schools to earn the Literacy Leader Award!

Statewide, only 406 schools were named Literacy Leaders, and 479 schools were recognized as Math Leaders

A huge congratulations to our amazing teachers who helped make this possible:
💙 Ms. Kimberly Terrell (5th Grade Math)
💙 Dr. Stassi Thomas & Ms. Cenethia Geter (3rd Grade Reading)

At Pace, we’re proving every day that when arts and academics unite, our scholars truly Inspire Greatness!

✨ Dads of Elevation✨
What an incredible experience celebrating fatherhood, leadership, and community!

Our keynote speaker, Dr. Ralph Simpson, delivered an inspiring message that reminded us of the powerful impact fathers and father figures have in shaping young lives.

Guests were treated to outstanding performances by our talented Pace Peformers, Roberts piano and orchestra artists, whose music filled the room with pride and purpose.

A heartfelt thank you to our special guests -
Dr. Anthony Smith, Superintendent;
Dr. Douglas Hendrix, Senior Deputy Superintendent & Chief of Staff; and Mark Christmas, Board Member— for joining us and showing their continued support for our scholars and families.

Special appreciation to Skylah Stokes for doing an excellent job serving as Mistress of Ceremony, keeping the program flowing with energy and grace.

As we continue our theme of “Inspiring Greatness,” we honor the fathers, grandfathers, and mentors who lead by example every day — guiding, encouraging, and inspiring the next generation to reach higher.
