Our Story
CVA is the perfect acreage for a wedding or large event! You can start your day in our one-of-a-kind bins, where your whole wedding party can get ready and hang out. Each climate controlled bin has a bathroom, TV, and plenty of mirrors and seating. Once you get ready, utilize over 10 acres of mature oak trees for your pictures, or head straight to your choice of outdoor ceremony site. Later, celebrate with all of your friends and family in our reception shed! This building will seat upwards of 500 people comfortably, is complete with air conditioned bathrooms, a small storage area, and a full bar with partial kitchenette. Don’t forget to spend a few moments on our outdoor patio which overlooks a gorgeous mix of oak trees, fields, and a 2 acre pond. How We Got Started
Warren & Sara Brackey hosted their oldest daughter’s wedding on their own acreage in 2015. It took a lot of work and a lot of planning to clean out their machine shed to have the reception in there. In addition, they spent quite a bit of money to make the acreage shine and to turn the shed into something that would mimic their daughter’s ever growing Pinterest boards. After all that work to keep Sara’s flowers blooming in late August, all the coordinating to get all the tables and chairs and vendors lined up, and all the help from our friends and family along the way, the day was over. And while it was such a great day, they joked about who would get married next, because it was also a TON of work. Fast forward a few years, and they found a nearby acreage with a stunning array of mature oak trees. Sara & Warren took ownership in the spring of 2017 and began transforming it into CVA! While the details in their vision changed several times throughout the construction process, they knew they wanted to keep the general concept at the root of it all. And that was to create a wedding venue large enough to accommodate a huge guest list, and eliminate any sort of hidden fees by charging one lump sum. CVA’s first wedding was June 9th, 2018. We’ll round out the year with 19 total weddings, and we can’t wait to do it all again next year!
