Please be prepared with cash as we may be cash only if the internet isnt restored. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

We’re asking for a little patience and understanding as we begin Ethnic Fest today.

The severe storm that came through last night caused significant damage to our outdoor setup, destroying tents, signage, and equipment.

We’re also currently without internet service, which will affect our ordering, registers and credit card processing.

We’ve been working to clean up, dry out and put things back together, but there will be some changes to our normal Ethnic Fest operations, including no outdoor beverage service at this time. There may also be delays or other adjustments throughout the day as we continue recovering from the storm.

If things move a little slower than usual, or something isn’t quite where or how you expect it to be, we simply ask for your patience and understanding. Our staff has a lot to tackle after last night’s storm, and we’re doing the best we can under the circumstances.

Thank you in advance for your patience, understanding and support. We truly appreciate it.

We’re still "putting on the foil" in the kitchen at Ace’s, even as a new chapter begins to take shape.

After careful consideration, we have made the decision to place Ace’s on the market. After purchasing Ace’s 12 years ago, we have been proud to carry forward a Johnstown tradition that began in 1953. As this process begins, we want to be clear that Ace’s remains fully operational, all existing event agreements remain in effect, and planning for scheduled weddings, private events, and functions is continuing as usual. Listing the property does not mean an immediate change, and Ace’s will continue operating throughout this process.

We believe it is important to communicate openly with our customers, staff, and community now that the listing is public, and we remain committed to providing the service and experience our clients have planned with us.

The bells rang at St. Casmir Church in Johnstown in honor of Gary Matolyak, former owner of Ace’s.

Their sound carried love, remembrance, and gratitude for a life that touched so many. May each ring serve as a tribute to his memory, his legacy, and the lasting impact he leaves behind.

Forever remembered. Forever honored.
