Spirit of the Wolf Native American Festival and Powwow Spirit of the Wolf Native American Festival and Powwow An Elder teaching his grandson about life. "A fight is going on inside me," he said to the boy.

The wolf clan believes that passing on our heritage to our children and grandchildren is most important, and that we must live in harmony and peace, as well as Love one another, without passing judgment. "It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves. One is evil - he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority,

and ego." He continued, "The other is good - he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith. The same fight is going on inside you - and inside every other person, too." The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, "Which wolf will win?"
The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed."

Thank you to all the vendors, Tony(Arena director), Lonnie(MC), Red Thunder Bear drum, Cheyenne (head lady), Gene(head man), Aztec fire dancers, Onondaga smoke dancers, Whispering Willow, North country wildcare, Adirondack dreamcatcher pony rides, Hagaman fire dept, and all the other dancers. Thank you to all the volunteers. Without all of you, this event wouldn't exist. It takes all of you to keep this event happening. Great job!!!! We greatly appreciate you all.

DON'T MISS THE LAST DAY OF THE FESTIVAL!!!!
Weather report for today at our festival says rain ending by 9am with a possible shower around 3pm. Did not rain all night here. Had rain at 7am. Subsided now.
