Brad and Ms. Louise Richardson asked me to do the memorial flowers for his father, John Steve Richardson. I have known Brad and his mom for many years and was touched that they asked me/Nana to do his flowers. If you know Brad, you know that he wanted unique, extra, and “bougie” flowers- a semi-truck, a heart, and a colorful casket spray. I was concerned for a moment, but I did some research and prayed. I always hope to deliver what the family wants. I told Brad that I would try my best.
When we walked into the funeral home with the flowers, Brad began to cry, hugged me, and said, “This is exactly what I wanted.” I was so relieved and felt blessed to be able to provide them with a little joy during this difficult time.
I pray that God will provide them comfort and peace in the upcoming days. Also, I thank God for giving me the ability to arrange His beautiful flowers and am grateful to everyone who supports Nana’s Busy Hands Florals & Decor, LLC.

We had a very successful vintage shopping trip to Georgia. Nana’s Busy Hands has been stocked with unique chinoiserie pieces, handmade pottery, baskets, and vases. Select a vase, pick out floral silks, and we will make you a one of a kind arrangement.

We also have a wide array of gifts for graduates, teachers,babies, and mothers.

Beginning tomorrow all Easter candy baskets, tea towels, wreaths, and arrangements will be 30% off the original price. We still have several little Jesus figurines that have not been found.

Nana’s Busy Hands wants to celebrate the Easter holiday by sharing a little Jesus. We will be having a scavenger hunt beginning today. Little Jesus figurines have been hidden throughout the store. Each figure is numbered and a prize is assigned. Come visit us and find a little Jesus.

Some memorial flowers are just a little harder to do, especially if you have known the person for over 35 plus years and have seen the impact she has had on so many people, especially my family. Ms. Fairlyn Odom touched the lives of countless people and lived out her faith each day. I was so honored to be allowed to do her memorial flowers. My prayers are extended to her family and friends. I know it will be difficult to live this life without her, but we can all rejoice that she has met her Master face to face and is no longer in pain.
