Nana’s Busy Hands Florals & Decor, LLC was honored to be asked by the family of Ms. Shirley Altman McDaniel to do her memorial flowers. Ms. Shirley adored hummingbirds. The grandchildren asked if I could do a floral stand of a Ruby Throated hummingbird. I was scared but I told the family that I would try my best. After studying several pictures of these lovely creatures, sketching the bird on paper, tracing it on an oasis sculpting sheet, cutting the image out of the oasis, and mounting on the stand, I was finally ready to start placing flowers. Although the process was long and tedious, I was happy with the outcome and reminded that my abilities are from God. There is NO other explanation!
I would like to thank Ms. Shirley’s family and friends for trusting us. We pray that God will provide you strength and comfort in the days ahead.

The season has changed at Nana’s Busy Hands. The temperature is cool and the leaves have changed colors. Fall is in the air, at least indoors. We have a large variety of custom wreaths and table decor.

We have expanded the “Baby Corner” and added merchandise from several new vendors. Gifts and Christmas tableware, dish towels, and decorations are arriving weekly. Stop by and see what has been added to the inventory. We are open Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 10-5:30 and Saturday 10-1.

Baby gift crates are now available at Nana’s Busy Hands- gender specific or gender neutral (coming soon). This would be a perfect baby shower hostess gift and decor. The crate can be used for various things as the child grows- baby doll clothes, costume organizer, cribb for dolls, toy storage, shoe storage, etc. Crates can be purchased individually or with contents. Several are currently available for purchase and orders will be taken.
