Alright gang! June 16th in Franklin North Carolina, the Taste of Scotland Festival is having it's first Highland Games and we are running it! If you are going to come throw comment and let me know and I will get you registration information. Tag friends who might want to throw as well. We are doing everything except hammer due to field size constraints. Number of registrants will be very limited, but we are taking all classes except for youths.

On this Thanksgiving day, I would like to take the opportunity to say thank you to all of our followers and athletes. Without you guys, there would be no Highland Games! -Elkan

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank and congratulate a few of our dedicated volunteers/throwers, that have made the ultimate sacrifice for the good of the games. They have become the first ever recipients of the "Tennessee Highland Heavy Athletics Judges Certification"! 🎈🎉🎊👏👏👏🎈🎉🎊 These poor souls had to set through a 5 hour lecture with me😨🤪, answer questions, and will be demonstrating their ability to make the right calls in some upcoming practice sessions. I can't express enough, just how proud I am of each one of these people. I have no doubt, that they will make excellent judges, who are fair minded and love the game.
