Everyone has tells.

That’s why I love taking a quiet moment to establish someone’s baseline, then just watching for the tiny little shifts that don’t match. A pause. A glance. A breath that changes.

Sure, magic always comes with a little mischief… but it’s the psychology of human behavior that really makes the impossible feel real.

So much happens before the magic.
Hours spent shaping the words that invite an audience in and give each moment weight.

The magic is only part of the experience.
Story, timing, silence, and intention are what turn it into something far more than a magic show.

The goal is simple.
Create something that lingers.

AMBIENCE IS PART OF THE MAGIC

Magic doesn’t happen in a vacuum.

The setting matters. The lighting. The mood.

I’ve learned that the environment I’m invited into can dramatically shape what the audience feels. Not just what they see but what they experience. When everything works together, the space, the energy, the pacing, the attention, it becomes more than a performance. It becomes an atmosphere.

It reminds me of going out for a truly great meal, when the food is incredible, yes, but so is the lighting, the décor, the service, and the overall feeling of being cared for. It’s not one thing that makes it memorable. It’s everything working together to create something complete.

Those are the environments I love most.

2025 surprised me in the best ways.

A sold-out night at the Red Clay Theater.
A stage ten stories below the ground in Cincinnati.
Road miles and bright lights across Texas.

Magic found its way into exquisite wedding venues,
banquet halls filled with thousands,
and quiet, elegant private events where the room felt like it was holding its breath.

And the Buckhead Theatre…
one of those stages you don’t forget stepping onto.

The strange, beautiful thing about magic is that nobody knows what’s coming next.

And honestly… that was my year.

I’m grateful for every invitation, every opportunity, every room full of wonder.
Thank you for trusting me with these moments and for giving me these memories.

This is what in the magic world we call "strolling magic".

On the surface, it looks like magic happening inches from someone’s hands. But that’s just the method, not the point.

The real outcome is connection.

In a corporate environment, strolling magic creates something most events struggle to manufacture. Relationship building without the awkward small talk. Genuine connections formed in intimate moments. Networking that feels natural, not forced.

People lower their guard. Conversations start easily. Laughter shows up. Strangers engage. Leaders connect. Teams loosen up.

Magic gives people a shared experience, and shared experiences build trust fast.

That’s the real value of having me at your next event. Not just entertainment, but a catalyst for meaningful interaction that actually moves the room.

And yes, the magic is fun too.

It has been a full month of holiday office parties, and I’ve had the chance to perform in some really fun rooms. This Saturday is a special one, though. I get to take the stage at an Atlanta landmark for a private event.

The Buckhead Theatre has hosted everyone from John Mayer, Adele, The Black Eyed Peas, Billy Idol, Goo Goo Dolls, Zach Bryan, Kacey Musgraves, and so many others. Standing in the wings of a place that has welcomed that level of talent feels a little surreal.

I’m excited and, honestly, a little wide-eyed to step onto a stage with that kind of history behind it. Feels a bit like Christmas magic working overtime.

Walking into a space like this always slows me down a little. Before the lights come up and the room fills with conversation and clinking glasses, I get a moment to take it in and remember how lucky I am to do what I do. Office Christmas parties and magic have always fit together so well. A little strolling magic during cocktail hour, a good meal, then a stage show to wrap up the night.

I’ve had the chance to do this in so many different places over the years, and I never take any of it for granted. There’s nothing quite like watching people’s faces light up, or catching that split second of wonder when they forget everything else for a moment. It feels like a gift, every single time.

So thank you to everyone who has welcomed me into rooms like this in the past, and to those I haven’t met yet, I’m excited for the moments ahead. Grateful is the only word that really fits.

Stepping onto the stage with a volunteer is one of my favorite parts of any show. In this moment, I’m sharing a story, but it’s doing more than filling time. Storytelling pulls us together. It helps everyone in the room lean in a little closer and sense that something bigger is taking shape.

The connection between the volunteer and me becomes a bridge for the whole audience. When they see someone step into the moment with me, they start to sit forward, ready to join the ride. That engagement is the heartbeat of a live interactive show.

I love watching both the participant and the crowd react when the impossible appears right in front of them. Those shared moments are why I do this.

Last week I had the chance to perform magic in this incredible space, and I am still thinking about it. So much of what I do in learning and practicing magic comes down to the smallest details. Maybe that is why a venue like this excites me so much.

The dimly lit room, the soft lighting, the candle glow, and the sense of mystery and elegance create an atmosphere that feels alive with possibility. The moment guests walk through the door, they can feel that something special is about to happen.

Spaces like this invite people into a memorable experience, and they welcome someone like me to be part of it. I loved every moment.

Every time I step on stage, I am reminded that magic is not about the illusion. It is about the moment it creates.
What my audience carries with them is how they felt in that breath of wonder when the impossible suddenly felt real.
That spark in the mind, that instant of pure surprise, is the gift I love sharing most.
