My husband wanted a Shrimp Creole for lunch today, not a typical lunch for Labor Day but that was what he wanted with Homemade Garlic Knots!! I must say it was delicious!!!

What a great Friday evening in Buffalo. It was a honor serving the Order of the Easter Star. The Order of the Eastern Star is a fraternal, nonprofit charitable organization associated with Freemasonry. Its stated principles are Charity, Truth, and Loving-Kindness. The women with Masonic affiliation and Master Masons who share a belief in a Supreme Being and a commitment to service. I want you to know they like their food as well!! Their purpose is to make a positive difference through charitable works, friendship, and loving kindness. It has always been that way for me!! Thank you to Dianne Ryder for asking me to cater the meal. I wasn’t able to get pictures but the meal included Roast Beef, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans. Rolls and Dinner Salad. The desserts, Homemade Peach Cobbler, Bread Pudding, Old Fashion Banana Pudding and Million Dollar Pie.

Welcome Back, Leon ISD Teachers!

Wishing all of the amazing teachers and staff at Leon ISD a wonderful school year! It is always a pleasure serving you, and I truly appreciate the opportunity to be a small part of your back-to-school celebration.

A very special thank you to Mitzi Helmcamp for everything she does for the school and the community. Your dedication and kindness are greatly appreciated.

I had so much fun creating this charcuterie board with the help from my daughter, Kellie.

Here’s to a fantastic year filled with success, laughter, and many wonderful memories.
