Mélange Gourmet is a small catering venture which I started from home that combines my love for food, my academic/professional experience in nutrition and my passion for cooking. As the name suggests, my menu is a unique blend of many cuisines that reflects different cultures since food is what brings people of different cultures together.

I’m thrilled to announce that Mélange Gourmet is open for business! It’s been a while and thanks to the love and support of my friends and popular demand, I decided it was time. I’ve come up with a new menu and I’m currently taking orders for pick up only. Please check it out and feel free to contact me to place yours. My menu will keep changing to include seasonal fruits and vegetables, items and favorites too. My food is always made fresh, from scratch and my cooking is influenced by not only my culture but also the places I’ve stayed in and always inspired by places I visit too. Its therefore, a fusion. Can’t wait to give you a taste of my food, from my kitchen to yours.

Last night I made pad thai with shrimp, my take on a typical pad thai recipe made with paneer instead of tofu, slightly spicy with a peanut sauce and scallions instead of bean sprouts;). It paired perfectly with a glass of chilled Riesling...perfect ending to a sizzling hot day!
