Was the Vote for Best Florist- due to the weddings we get to design? Perhaps!

Did you know when Lavender Hill first opened- back in 1993- we started in New Albany, renting space in the old New Albany Antique Mall? It’s true!

We started small and created a following with silk and permanent botanicals for weddings. The demand for fresh flowers helped grow our business and we’ve become known for designing beautiful wedding bouquets and decor- especially some fab floral arches and table decor.

Fast forward through- GenX- Z and beyond- we’ve evolved with their vision for flowers and decor- Now, more elopements and Micro weddings- means more creative designs and requests- and we’re here for all of it!

Well- a Giant ‘THANK YOU!!’ to everyone who cast a vote for Lavender Hill being your favorite place for Flowers, Plants and Gifts for all of life’s occasions.

Being Voted the Best Florist in Clark County-
means the world to us. It means that you, think of us- and equally as important, you tell your family and friends about us.

Bet you didn’t know we will hold back some of the flower when we do an order… just to confirm the vase life.

These roses are now going on three weeks in a vase. They’re held back from a wedding. We have only added fresh water to the vase and not re- cut, just to confirm what many people do when they have flowers- just add water.

They’ve opened beautifully, and will most likely be here by the end of the week. We always suggest giving a *fresh cut - and then add fresh water to the vase*

Our goal is quality and a long vase life— as always, thanks for following and supporting our small business. We truly appreciate you.

And YES, she did get third- in only her third time competing!

The second best part of this whole weekend was- Brittany’s parents drove 7 hours from Missouri to be a part of her big weekend.

They got to see the beautiful designs she created which got her into the top four to compete in the finals. Brittany has truly worked so hard to expand and refine her skills, pushes herself, and she definitely accepts a good challenge. She’s a natural.

CONGRATULATIONS, Brittany!!!!!!! You definitely deserve it!

We’ve had a great time with our Flower Friends at the Kentucky Floral Association’s Convention.

Hello, Flower Friends!!!

Just a quick note to let everyone know- The shop will be closed this weekend-
Friday and Saturday- while we attend the
Kentucky Florist’s Association Convention.

We’re sad to disappoint or inconvenience you-
but floral education is a must- and being with our flower family is like US receiving flowers.

Thanks for understanding and looking forward to sharing what we’re up to over the weekend.
