If this is your first massage, it’s very normal to feel a little unsure walking in.
A lot of people worry about what they’re supposed to say, how they’re supposed to act, or whether they’ll do something wrong. You don’t need to have any of that figured out ahead of time.
When you arrive, we’ll talk briefly about what to expect and what feels important for your body that day. You’re never rushed through this part, and you’re never expected to have the “right” answers.
During your session, you can talk or be quiet.
Neither is considered rude.
You’re always encouraged to speak up if something needs to be adjusted. Pressure, temperature, music, and lighting can all be changed at any point. Your comfort matters more than sticking to a plan.
There’s no correct way to relax, and no pressure to feel calm right away. Some bodies soften quickly. Some take time. Both are completely normal.
After your session, you’re welcome to take your time getting dressed and gathering your things before heading out.
You don’t need experience.
You don’t need to perform.
Just showing up is enough.
