I know I haven’t given an update on Deb. I know most of you didn’t know she has been back in UAB. She was home for five days and while I was cooking breakfast, she got out of bed and fell again and broke her leg that has her metal hip in it.

She refused to do rehab and the doctor told me that she needs to be in a long term care facility. I went by one today and it ain’t nothing but where old people go to die. I can’t do that to her.

Beside prayers, does anyone know where I can get long term hospital bed. One which can alarm if she gets up. Can’t afford much. I also going to put up baby monitor in the bedroom to assist keeping an eye on her.

Any help would be appreciated.

Update with Deb, her dementia has gotten real bad. The nurses are asking her if she wants to do this and does she what to do that, instead of telling her they are going to do. If we’re not there to ensure she eats and drinks and bath, they just don’t do It. Two trays of food not eaten and her p**s is very dark. I thought UAB was a good hospital, but I guess only their critical care units. This regular floor people are terrible. I hope we can get her into a rehab center close to home. They still haven’t gotten her to sit up since June 30th. Thank you all for prayers and please keep praying for her.

Update on Deb, she has been moved to a regular room at UAB. When she does get released she will have to go to a rehab facility here close to Jasper.

They gave me four choices, I see their ratings, but can anyone tell me if they had experience with any of the ones around here?

Update on Deb, she is off the ventilator and now awake and talking. God is so good. Thanks for all your prayers and supporting words that everyone game me. I will so glad to get her home.

Update on Deb, she is breathing on her own, but still have the ventilator in. Her fingers and arm on the left side is turning blue and are very cold. They did a complete ultrasound to see if there is any blockage. They are concerned that she is not waking up. They are going to do a MRI on her head to see if did have a stroke. Thanks again for all the prayers and please continue those prayers.

Update on Deb:

No changes yet, still in a comma. The have gotten her blood pressure up, however her heart rate has jump up to 153 beats a minute. Blood sugar and enzymes are still not under control. I send you a picture but it doesn’t look good, and if did and when deb wakes up she would kill me. Thanks for all the prayers and please continue.

She flown to UAB and is on life support. Still no response from her. She is in a comma. She fixing to go to the ICU.

I am so mad with Walker Baptist Hospital! I need prayers for my wife, Deb Alexander, she is on. Ventilator and blood pressure medicine at UAB. She was admitted into Walker last Sunday for a broken tail bone and low blood pressure. She was released on Wednesday, by Ambulance, and place in bed either though she hadn’t even sat up and blood pressure had not gotten any better. At 2am this morning she was no responsive and would answer questions or move at all. Had to have her flown to UAB. It doesn’t look good right now and need prayers for her.

Hey everyone, I have allot of Legos and Lego type for sale. I know most people who have asked about them want completely new sets. I did sell some to a very nice man who told me the ones he bought was worth around $600. I sold it to him for $200. Now it comes that people who have small children or who just love legos time. I am not wanting to make allot of money, I just want to get ride of them. You know I am not right in the mind most of the time, so what happened to me today, didn’t get me upset or nothing, but I really don’t understand. Let me give you some background :

I am a veteran and caregiver for a grandson and wife with a severe case of dementia . I have ensure that I keep up with vaccines because I can’t afford to let them down.

Two months ago I went to my VA Clinic and ask about a Covid shot and they said they didn’t have any in stock and that they are having another covid
Clinic in December. I went to them today to see about the date in December . They told me they just had clinic last week and they didn’t have any left. I asked them what about advertising it. They said that they don’t do that.

So now I do not have the updated shot and don’t know what to do . Before anyone says anything , because I get my medicine from the VA my Medicare plan does not allow me to get one at a pharmacy or another doctor office . This wasn’t a problem when the government was paying , but now they are not.

Any suggestions? I have several high risk factors and am responsible for two people that mean everything to me? I am not mad, just confused.
