Downtown Jasper's Annual Amateur Cook-off's We saw a need in 2023 and started these events. Our BBQ event is normally in June/July and our Chili event is in November timeframes.

Now, each year, we plan host two annual events, our Amateur BBQ Cook-off and our Amateur Chili & Brunswick Stew Cook-off. We host these events to bring people to downtown Jasper to show off Main Street, support local businesses, give cooks/chefs/hobbyists a place to show off their skills, AND to eat some good food! Current Competitors, Sponsors, Vendors and Attendees

First of all, thank you so much for your support of this event.

Unfortunately, we have had to make a tough decision and after much deliberation, with today being 15 days away from the event, because of the lack of engagement & participation needed from more competitors, vendors & sponsors to make this event possible, we have decided to cancel this event.

For the paid competitors, sponsors, vendors & attendees, we have reached out via email on our plans to refund your payments.

We've narrowed the dates down to June 15th, June 22nd, July 20th or July 27th - the exact date will be picked in the next few days!

Equipment rules: WOOD BURNING, CHARCOAL, PROPANE & ELECTRIC SMOKERS/GRILLS ALLOWED. INVERTER GENERATORS ONLY (quiet ones).

**** From 12-5 PM, attendees will come around to the competitor booths to sample your products.

Serving plates, bowls, forks, napkins & garbage cans to be provided by event.
