Mod Bloom specializes in custom Fresh and Permanent Floral Designs, Wedding and Event Planning and D

I enjoy working and Brainstorming with customers, giving them extra attention and detailed customer service. It is important to me to create a positive relationship with the people I work with. I do a lot of Volunteer work for Agrace Hospice and Rotary Botanical Gardens here in Janesville and building those work relationships is crucial to successful partnerships. I started creating Fresh and Permanent Floral Designs when I was 19. Designing floral creations and decorating for Weddings and Corporate and Personal Events, has become my passion. Brainstorming ideas then having them come to life is such an amazing accomplishment. I look forward to sharing my unique style with you and making your vision a reality.

My assistant got married!!! Alexa and Andrew were married on one of the prettiest of June days at DC Estate Winery

I was elated when she asked me to do her flowers. She and I planned for months and yes, a lot of details were based around peonies. ( we both ❤️them) Her vision and my talent put the sweet icing on the cake.

Alexa was beaming and beautiful and Andrew was dapper and oozing with love for her. Can’t forget Finn! Fur babies are our kids too you know!

Cheers to you Mr.& Mrs. Maloney 🥂❤️

Last weekend I had 2 weddings. Both turned out fantastic!

I always have a little anxiety going into the week, but I’ve got a system that has never failed me and gets me through even the craziest weeks.

This pic says everything ☺️ especially with my Kwik Trip Diet Coke 😎
I pivot like a pro, I work like a beast and I do what it takes to make my clients happy.

I am so lucky to be able to do what I do and still love it.
Cheers to Maddie & Kelly and Hallee & Joseph! 🥂❤️

First off…look at this amazing couple. Sweet, tender and super fun! Thank you Taylor and Guillermo for trusting me with your vision. Beautiful day…beautiful wedding.

Couples who choose ME, choose quality, creativity, experience and trust me with their vision and honestly, so so much more.

I am transparent and honest with my clients. If my expertise doesn’t vibe with their vision, that’s 100% fine. I don’t say yes to every opportunity because my business definitely revolves around quality over quantity.

Blessed and fortunate is an understatement. I am thankful every day that I can make my own decisions, run my own business and even better, know my worth.

Cheers to everyone I’ve ever worked with as you have strengthened my career and support my passions.

Personal photo dump….🥰

Took some time to travel with my good friend Samarie Pel. Delray Beach Florida did not disappoint. ☀️ The weather was awesome, the food and shopping was amazing and the people watching was the best I’ve ever experienced 😂

This will date me, but I met David Brian, keyboardist for Bon Jovi. We were at the same Derby party and I couldn’t resist introducing myself.

My mom was in the hospital again a couple weeks ago but is home now recovering. Taking care of an aging parent is not easy but we do it because we love them. She’s doing better but we have a long road ahead of us. ❤️

Mother’s Day was super relaxing and yes, I did spend time with my daughter…just no pics lol. I guess I wanted to be in the moment. Beautiful weather, mimosas and laughter filled the day! 🥂

This month I celebrate 10 years as Mod Bloom 🥂

I’ve been a florist for 3 decades but 10 years ago I took the leap and went full time as self employed. That word alone was even scary to say.
But it was the best decision I could have ever made in my career. No looking back and only planning forward.

I’m so excited for my next chapter that will hopefully bloom this year (no pun intended). Stay tuned for updates as the project evolves.

Just like the way Brittany and Conor felt on their beautiful wedding day last August at the , is how l feel about my next chapter. Joy, love and excited for the future.

By the way, Brittany’s bouquet is absolutely one of my favorites. I love Zinnias !!
The uniqueness she took, carefully molding her vision is something I resonate with.

My vision, concept and passion is right inline with everything I’ve learned over the span of my career.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me and has become my advocate. It takes a team to build a dream.

Fingers crossed it all pans out for the best!

Capturing life through the camera….reflecting in no particular order.
Easter with family 🐣 my daughters engagement pictures made everything so real 💍, spring flowers for others , my mom home from the hospital 🙏, surrendering my dog Eleanor to a loving family with a bonus buddy 🐶, deciding that I can say no, and it’s just fine, realizing I really do love buttons (stickers too!) swearing feels so good 😎, celebrating the loves of my life..grandson Felix (2!) and my daughter Madison (29!) 🎂

The beginning of this year has been a whirlwind but I’m not complaining. I’m stronger, more aware, driven and determined to create what I want.

Fingers crossed, this year will be one of the best yet. 🤞💪

Some times it’s about the simple yet oh so lovely things 🥰

12/29/2025

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas this year!
My blessings consisted of ~
Watching my Grandson Felix enjoy the new wonders of Christmas 🎁
Spending quality time with my family 🥰
Making my Grandma Gessert’s Orange drop cookies and Christmas pudding (still enjoying today!)
Holiday decorating for many homes and businesses (Thank you!) 🙏
Festive fun with centerpiece and wreath classes 🎄

But on a bittersweet note, I found my girl Eleanor a new home and family. For reasons beyond my control, it was a very hard decision to make but I know she is living her best life. She now has a brother (who is a pittie too) to chase and 2 young biys to play with.

I hope this season is filled with new memories, rest, yummi food, blessings that aren’t wrapped with a bow, bountiful hugs and kisses and excitement for the new year.

This video makes my heart so happy and proud to be from Janesville. Our city, especially our downtown, has come so far. As a downtown business owner I have seen the growth over the last 10 years just come alive. We are all fortunate to be able to call Janesville our home. ❤️🎄❤️🔔❤️🎅
