Happy June 1st! We've been quiet, but busy working on our 2013-14 season. Thank you to all of our WONDERFULLY AMAZING SUPPORTIVE and DEDICATED sponsors and season ticket holders! We will be recognizing you soon, but we just are so thankful for your support we cannot contain ourselves. We feel so blessed to be a part of the arts community in Janesville.

What is the LIVE on Main Street Series?


Good question! For over 76 years, the Janesville Presents! organization has brought high-quality professional artists and programs to our area to educate, entertain, and enjoy the diversity that the arts has to offer-from classical music to pop, from dance to theatre. In this 2013-2014 season, Janesville Presents! and the Janesville Performing Arts Center will combine efforts and talent in order to present even more dynamic performances in the future. This combined effort between these partnering organizations is the LIVE on Main Street Series-- an action packed, diverse group of professional performances for Rock County residents to enjoy. John Latini seems to win songwriting awards on an annual basis-he was Detroit Blues Champion twice, a semi-finalist in the Windsor Blues Challenge, and winner of an array of other awards and nominations in four states. Jamie-Sue Seal is an established songwriter, singer, artist manager, concert promoter, label proprietress, networker extraordinaire and tireless all-around roots-music entrepreneur. The five-o'clock shadow of Latini's voice is a perfect foil for Seal's sunny vocal clarity, whether in harmony or playing off each other-it's a him-and-her, back-and-forth synergy that can't be manufactured, only cultivated.

Who CARES that it is snowing?!?! Come out tonight to see DePue De Hoyos for some HOT LATIN FUSION beats. Tickets are still available at www.janesvilepac.org or at the door.
