I'm Zoey, I've been supervising these 2 in the Gathering Garden remodeling. In lue of National Dog Day, I thought I'd share a few of my favorite things. Hiking with my family. Fetch — sticks, balls, it doesn't matter, I will go until mom makes me stop. Water. Always water. Going down the slide with the grandbabies. Carrying my own leash because I've got it from here, thanks. And helping build The Gathering Garden one supervised work day at a time. But my absolute favorite thing? The people. Every single one of them. I'm ten years old and I have loved every minute. Happy National Dog Day from me to you. 🐾🌿

When the Greenhouse Needs a Reset 🌿

Real greenhouse life isn't always pretty.

July was HOT and dry, we were gone, and the greenhouse definitely shows it. Plants got scorched, things got overgrown, and some things just didn't make it.

So today was clean-out day. Out with what didn't survive, a good cleanup, and time to start fresh.

There's something pretty satisfying about clearing out the old and making room for what's next. 🌱
