Today, you would have been 78 and on your way to New Orleans. But God changed plans; Moni and I went to the cemetery to wish you; HAPPY HEAVENLY BIRTHDAY!!!! They finally placed the grass, and a beautiful butterfly flew near by. Daddy I fought through so many tears and I , worked hard to hide my pain. Daddy, I still don't process that you are gone. When both your parents are gone, there's no more talks. There's no more silent prayers. When you were their only, so you are left playing memories that NO ONE remembers. They weren't perfect, and neither were you, but you were a part of each other. A simple nap turned my world upside down.
People, time is going by fast! I'm not telling you to forget but forgive so that you can at least say what needs to be said. Take time and say I LOVE YOU! Because when that stone is set, it CAN NOT HUG or say I LOVE YOU, BACK. Coming from A DADDY'S GIRL!
