Jordan Hawkins didn’t just arrive on the scene—he built his sound from the ground up. With roots that stretch from a church choir in Greensboro, North Carolina to jam sessions in Los Angeles, Hawkins is no overnight success. He’s a product of patience, precision, and a whole lot of soul. His new EP, Love Hate, isn’t just a music release—it’s a revelation. A genre-blurring, emotionally rich body of work that announces the arrival of an artist who is here to stay. Check out and let us know what you think. www.ilovemusictour.com

Today's Artist Spotlight is SANAVI. Striking at the heart of human emotion, SANAVI has solidified her identity as an unrivaled, emerging R&B/Pop artist. Gracing the music scene with her soulful and evocative single, “WAY BACK,”

Her voice is so pure and resonates, unlike today's whisper singers. It is a breath of fresh air to hear such a tone. Check her out and let me know what you think.

Television producer Norman Lear has passed away at the age of 101. He was the producer of such hit shows as The Jeffersons. All in the Family and Good Times. He had a philosophy that I always found to be incredibly simple and powerful. He said "I think the two least considered small words in the English language may be ‘over’ and ‘next’. When something is over, [it’s] over. We’re onto next.”

He said the “over and next” philosophy allows him to stay present and focused.

“I live in that moment,” Lear said. “I mean this is it — this is the best conversation I could possibly be having,

Over and Next

I Love Music Foundation

Founded in 2007 by Michael Butler, the I Love Music Foundation was created to fill a large void. With more than 9 years of working closely with high school programs as the Executive Director of the Teal Sound Drum & Bugle Corps of Jacksonville, FL, Butler has seen firsthand how budget cuts and lack of awareness of the many benefits of school music programs has dwindled the size of most music programs. In 2009, Butler joined forces with Bill Cottam, co-founder of The Crocs Next Step Campus Tour, to elevate the mission to a national level. In 2011, the Foundation was able to host their first benefit concert. The show was a big success. After 7 years of shows, The I Love Music Tour Concert has become a staple in Jacksonville, FL. In 2013, Terrace Butler Joined the Foundation and brought with her years of experience in building strong strategic plans and training programs. In 2017, Felecia K. Nelson, Ed. S joined the Foundation as the Director of Development. Felecia brings a strong educational background to the position. Also joining the team as Head of Promotions is Anthony "Big Amp" Parker and Marcus Lundy as Head of Production. The I Love Music Foundation works year-round to make this vision a reality and gives students across the nation the opportunity to experience a quality music education. EVENT OPPORTUNITIES The I Love Music Foundation will continue to work year-round to create entertaining events in markets across the country to raise money and awareness for music programs.
