Slowly but surely, day by day, this truck is coming back together. And I won’t stop until it is ready. It’s been torture not being out in this thing serving you guys. I promise though, when the trailer is back up and running, it is going to be a NEW chop it Charlie’s. I began this truck with the idea of creating new and exciting dishes every week. I went one month and saw how much everyone liked the cheesesteak and said “okay were a cheesesteak truck now” I got comfortable way too quickly, and because of that I quickly started going downhill. My creativity flew out the window, I started switching up product to save money. I wasn’t going for opportunities I should have. I take responsibility for all of this, and reflecting on this past year, plan on coming back 10x harder than ever before. I know this is Chop it Charlie’s last shot at redemption in the food truck industry and I’m going to take it by the horns.
The truck is going to take at least a month to fix, and in that time we are not going to be able to sell food on the side of the road with the tent. We will only be able to do special events and catering. We are booking now for August and September. Please reach out to have us come chop it up at your next event!!
