For its inaugural year Bold City Con 2022 has crafted a premium lineup, featuring award-winning actor Doug Jones (Star Trek: Discovery, Hell Boy, Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer, The Shape of Water, and Hocus Pocus), Larry Bagby & Tobias Jelinek (for a Hocus Pocus reunion with Doug), Matt Lintz (Ms. Marvel, The Walking Dead), Mindy Sterling (Austin Powers, Legend of Korra), Jason Marsden (Disney's Max Goof, Hocus Pocus), and more to be announced soon!
Bold City Con also introduces our first 'Cosplayground' featuring a series of photo op backdrops, Cosplay Guests, and Cosplay Groups, plus a Cosplay Cool Down section, along with lots of prop replicas and vehicle photo ops. Our vendor hall and artist alley marketplaces will bring together a unique mix of collectible, rare, and original nerdy wares. Special guest meet and greets and fan panels will be scheduled throughout the weekend including After Hours events at 1904 Music Hall on Friday and Saturday nights.

Comic legend and featured guest at our inaugural show George Pérez has announced he has been diagnosed with Stage 3 Pancreatic Cancer. It is surgically inoperable and they estimated life expectancy is between 6 months to a year.
George has opted to forgo any treatment and just let nature take its course and enjoy whatever time he has left as fully as possible with his wife, family, friends and fans.
George is returning to the arena of social media by starting a new Facebook account where fans and friends can communicate with him or his designated rep directly for updates. Join the new page here https://www.facebook.com/TheGeorgePerez/ and send George your messages of love and support.

The Wizarding Market is open at the River City Railway near the stadium in Downtown Jacksonville!
Its our birthday! Hall of Heroes put on its very first event five years ago today at the Snyder Armory on Normandy Blvd. A small first time comic con featuring two huge landmark guests, comic book legends Peter David and George Perez. In the few years since that inaugural show we have produced some of the most unique pop culture events in Jacksonville from the Star Wars fan event Force Fest in Hemming Park and the former Landing, to the Harry Potter themed 9 3/4 Wizarding Market at the River City Railway, to our Mall of Heroes takeover of Regency Mall, to our ongoing partnership producing shows for the opening of exhibits at MOSH, to adopting and retooling beloved regional shows Ancient City Con in St Augustine and Jekyll and Hyde Con in Brunswick, GA.
In 2022 we're venturing into our biggest event yet partnering with New Horizon Entertainment (River City Wrestling Con) to bring Jacksonville Bold City Con the weekend of February 25-27 at the Jacksonville Fairgrounds. Bold City Con brings a fresh new 3-Day event to Downtown Jacksonville packed with pop culture fun with celebrity guests, cosplay groups and character actors, vendors, artists, props and replicas, art cars, and so much more!
