Meet our new Floral Manager at The Bread and Board Provisions! 🌷
Lauren is Nebraska-born, Orange Park raised, and currently a Murray Hillian!
"Jacksonville is an amazing place to call home, I can easily garden and hike year-round here. If I’m not outdoors, I am probably working on a DIY home improvement or art project of some variety."
For the last four years, Lauren was working in finance but her career in floral design began in 2016 when she started working at a local florist, where she quickly fell in love with the art.
"In 2017 my colleague and I decided to establish our own florist business. We focused on sharing the basics of flower arrangements, with our step-by-step design classes. Our intent was to allow anyone to be comfortable grabbing a little bouquet from the store and displaying proudly at home."
"Having been WFH in finance prior, I am thrilled to be a part of the hustle & bustle of downtown JAX. Definitely looking forward to the excitement that comes along with Bread & Board’s proximity to Waterfront Plaza and other event venues."
"My goal with the flower bar is to encourage all folx to tap into that creative space meant for adorning your home/loved ones. There are endless combinations of colors, styles, flowers and then their destinations beyond our shop are equally as unique. We have pre-made arrangements daily, too, but there is something very thoughtful about piecing your own blooms together for a one-of-a-kind bouquet."
