After spending just over 3 years serving Jacksonville and the surrounding areas, Skillet, in the form that you currently recognize it, is officially closed. This isn't a sad post. This was a decision made by our team after careful thought and consideration. It's time for something new, so we have decided not to renew our contract with the school. Instead, Chris and I have decided to take on some other projects and adventures for a while. You may see Skillet come back in the form of pop-up dinners or maybe even a new food truck down the line, but for now we will be closing. Thank you to everyone who made this such an amazing adventure. We have made hundreds, if not thousands of friends over the years and we wouldn't have been able to do it without the love and support of each and every one of you. Thank you!

Whether you need a little help with some of your sides or you need the whole meal handled, Skillet has your back. Here is our updated menu and pricing for our Thanksgiving Day offerings. You still have time to place orders. All items are limited in quantity so make sure you reserve yours today. Orders will be accepted through the night of November 20th. You can get a take and bake version of everything delivered or picked up on Wednesday or you can pick up your meal hot and ready to go on Thursday.

It's that time of year again! Skillet is offering up our help for the holidays. If you are looking to take some of the pressure off when it comes to cooking up a fancy feast for your fellow foodies, then do not miss out on this opportunity. As of now, we are still just offering up the sides, desserts, and drinks you and your guests will love. We may also offer up some main courses soon.

Sides (feed 8 to 10): $25
Rolls (dozen): $10
Soups (quart): $15

Cakes (feed 4-6): $20
Cherry Limeade (Gallon): $10

We will stop taking orders November 20th for Thanksgiving.

In an effort to avoid contamination of food and drink, following the boil water advisory this weekend, we will be closed today to flush and sanitize all of our equipment, including ice, coffee, and soda machines. We will be open regular hours starting tomorrow. Thank you.

This is the menu for our kitchen takeover next week at Legacy Ale Works for their summer kickoff. Live music, new beer releases, maker's market, and a special menu you will only find at this event. Come through and have a blast.

Just a friendly reminder, we are open to the public. Our schedule for the summer is Monday through Thursday 8am to 5pm. We are available all weekend for catering and large orders. Stop in and check out our ever-changing chef's specials. Today is one of my personal favorites: The Patty Melt. Here at Skillet we pride ourselves on our cooked to temperature burgers, but the allure of a smash patty is not totally lost on us. The Patty Melt is one of the best applications for the smash burger. This one comes with 2 smash burgers, Swiss cheese, and grilled onions on Village Bread & Bagel gourmet Jewish rye, served with fries for $10. Only available in person, supplies are limited.

We get asked about breakfast catering a lot. I decided to make a menu of our more common items. We are not limited to this menu. We are only limited by your imagination and budget. If your office or workplace caters breakfast to it's employees, tell them to contact us. Do you have a pharmaceutical rep sending you food from the same place over and over again? Tell them to contact us. Don't forget, we are open to the public Monday through Friday. Come see us at 11901 Beach Blvd.

We have really expanded on our menu to meet the needs of our new location. With there being so many people on campus who are looking for food every day, we knew they did not want the same thing every time, we had to have a variety. This is our current menu, not including breakfast, grab and go, or our daily specials. Come check us out at FSCJ South Campus. We are open to the public, you can order online and pick up or come in and order in person. We have indoor and outdoor seating as well.

🎶Put some hot sauce on my breakfast burrito, baby!🎶

Breakfast is a new concept for us here at Skillet. Operating for most of our earliest days in the darkness of the evening, we have now found ourselves up before the sun. Of course, the sun is shining by the time we open our doors. That's when you can stop in and get fresh brewed Martin Coffee Company coffee, fresh baked bagels and pastry from Village Bread & Bagel, and one of our breakfast options. We are currently running this delicious breakfast burrito. We believe simplicity is sometimes the best option. We pack scrambled eggs, bacon, cheddar jack cheese, and tater tots into a flour tortilla and serve it with taco or hot sauce. Stop in and check us out.
