We tried to explain what the Brunch would be like… but the truth is, it’s hard to describe something that doesn’t fit into a traditional event box.
The entire purpose was simple, yet powerful: to inspire people to love themselves.
That intention showed up in so many ways:
In a playful Video Scavenger Hunt that invited guests to loosen up, be silly, and reconnect with their authentic selves — with winners pampered by generous sponsors.
In self-compassion exercises that asked guests to face a mirror and reflect on moments they could have shown themselves more grace.
In a Confidence Workshop where women named things they genuinely liked about themselves, surrounded by encouragement from their tablemates.
Guests were lavishly loved with endless charcuterie, mimosas, mocktails, cocktails, and sweet treats. The space felt regal and intentional, dressed in purple and gold, complete with photo ops and statement décor. We sang. We danced. We laughed. We cried.
And the impact reached far beyond the room.
Together, the event raised over $2,500 for Hubbard House, along with $2,483 worth of pampering bags for survivors of domestic violence. Guests also wrote one-on-one handwritten notes to include in those bags — extending care, encouragement, and connection directly to women who needed it most.
That four-hour brunch created ripples that continue to spread — empowering guests, sponsors, volunteers, and survivors alike.
