BIG THINGS ARE COMING ✨️🫰🏻
One year ago today, Bellamy Productions officially became an LLC.
But our story started long before that in 2024.
After finding out we were becoming parents, Dave and I started exploring the idea of turning our shared love of photography into something more. I casually mentioned one day that it would be cool to have our own photography business.
Dave's response?
"Let's go for it."
I genuinely wasn't expecting that. 😂
So, we did.
By that summer, we were gathering information, dreaming, planning, and planting the first little seeds of what this could become. 🌱
Then life happened.
Late pregnancy. Work. And eventually, becoming parents to Bellamy.
Photography took a backseat while we learned how to be Mom and Dad. Adjusting to parenthood needed to come first, but the dream never really went away. It just waited for us.
Fun fact: Bellamy Productions almost wasn't Bellamy Productions at all. 😂
Our original idea was to combine our names and make it sound fancy with an accent:
Glavé.
Yeah... we quickly realized that was going to require way too much explaining. 😅
Instead, we chose a name that meant something much bigger to us. Our daughter had changed our entire lives, and we wanted this new chapter to carry a piece of her with it.
And so, Bellamy Productions was born. 🤍
In May 2025, after finding our footing as new parents, we started watering those seeds again. 💧
Slowly. Steadily.
We began rebuilding the dream while raising an infant and while I eventually returned to my corporate job. A job I was incredibly grateful to have.
And then...
We got pregnant again. 😅
Our sweet Fae was on her way, and suddenly we had another big decision to make.
We could continue slowly building Bellamy Productions while raising two babies and both working our other jobs...
or we could take a chance.
We realized that putting my full focus into building our business would give our family something we desperately needed during this season: flexibility. It would allow me to continue building something of my own while being present for our daughters, especially as we worked toward Dave's eventual military retirement.
So we took the chance.
On October 1, 2025, Bellamy Productions officially became an LLC. 🌱
And in January 2026, we really began tending to it since I left my corporate job.
We photographed. We learned. We got better. We met incredible people who trusted us with some of the most important moments of their lives.
All while preparing to become a family of four.
Then Fae arrived, and once again, we gave ourselves permission to slow down and be parents.
The dream could wait.
Our babies couldn't.
This time, though, the pause was shorter. And when we came back, something had changed.
The little seeds we'd been planting for years were finally starting to grow.
Today, Bellamy Productions is officially one year old.
And when we look at what has happened in that one year, it's difficult to put into words what it means to us.
Every family who stood in front of our cameras.
Every couple who trusted us with their wedding day.
Every proposal, engagement, maternity session, elopement, baby, laugh, tear, chaotic family photo and quiet little moment.
Every inquiry.
Every booking.
Every person who shared our work, recommended our names, left us a review, encouraged us, or simply believed we could do this.
You helped water those seeds, too.
And we're incredibly grateful.
We're still growing. We're still learning. We're still figuring things out. There is so much we want to accomplish and so much better we want to become.
But for the first time, it doesn't feel like we're waiting to see whether this little dream of ours will grow.
It's growing. 🌿
Bellamy Productions is in full force, and we're ready for the momentum & bloom. 🌻
Here's to year two! 🥂🎉
