🚨 RAE-DERS, I NEED YOU TO DO A THING. 🚨
They’re taking nominations for a Stranger Couples Session and apparently my friends have collectively decided that after witnessing the absolute CIRCUS that has been my dating life, it is time to let fate pick the man. 😂
And honestly? I’m in.
If you know me personally — or you’ve been following DJ Rae Bae long enough — you know I have STORIES. I have loved the wrong people, stayed too long, given too many chances, had my heart broken, rebuilt it, and somehow still haven’t completely given up on the idea that there might be a good one out there.
There’s also a part of my dating story I don’t talk about quite as lightly. I survived cervical cancer. Treatment saved my life, but it also took away my ability to have children. That has affected relationships before, and dating while knowing that motherhood in the traditional sense isn’t part of my future has added a whole other layer to trying to find someone who genuinely wants me and the life I can offer.
But after everything?
I’m still here.
Still soft. Still hopeful. Still willing to love.
Just with a slightly better bu****it detector. 😂
So maybe instead of letting me pick another man myself, we let a complete stranger do it. Clearly my hiring department needs to be outsourced. 💀
