They loved the space and said it had everything they needed to make their day go smooth and run WAY AHEAD of schedule!

Let your child discover the joy of cooking while building skills for a lifetime! Our 6-week program is designed for ages 7–15, with four levels to match every young chef’s experience:

👩‍🍳 Beginner– Learn kitchen basics, safety, and simple recipes.
🥗 Intermediate– Explore new ingredients, flavors, and cooking techniques.
🍝 Advanced– Tackle more complex dishes and plating skills.
🍰 Master Chef– Creative challenges, gourmet recipes, and presentation finesse.

📅 When: 6 weeks, 1 day per week
-Mondays during day for homeschool families

-Sunday afternoons for all families

What food has to be made in a commerical inspected Kitchen/facility? Part 2 Meats & cheese

🥩 Whether it is a taco meat, smoked ribs, meatloaf, sliced deli meat & cheese or a cooked brat on bun, it has to come from a health inspected facility. Whether that is a commerical kitchen or health inspected food truck / stand.

Big take homes on this is
✔️ the raw meat is kept cold in an inspected freezer / refrigerator at the right temperature
✔️Kept hot at the right temperature or time til consumption
✔️After cooking, recooled and stored back in the inspected refrigerator in the right amount of time to inhibit bacteria growth that can cause all the bad things
✔️deli meats and cheese for sandwiches, meat & cheese snackle boxes, charcuterie boards and boxes due to refrigeration

So if you are looking to make take and bakes, take away hot plates, smoked BBQ by the piece or pound, we have the smokers, hot food holders, range, ovens, and freezers /refrigerators that keeps it legit.

What food has to be made in a commerical kitchen? Part 1 Cakes, Cupcakes, & Icing.

🎂Let's talk icing, frosting, fruit dips, cakes, and cupcakes with:

✔️ REAL buttercream icing (made with unsalted butter and/or cream / milk)
✔️Cream cheese icing or frosting (cream cheese)
✔️Swiss, French, or Italian meringue icing (use of eggs ) actually any meringue... even meringue pies.
✔️Ganache for frosting, filling, or strawberry dipping (use of cream)
✔️whipped cream frosting (use of cream)

🧁Now lets talk about little addition to the top

✔️fresh SLICED fruit, like a strawberry, peach slice, apple slice, etc (this is on the top or inbetween layers of a cake, or mixes into a dessert)
✔️fresh herb garnishments like mint, parsley, chives
✔️cooked meats like bacon on top of those donuts or cupcakes

🍰 Next lets talk about the cake or cupcakes itself
✔️ if it has fresh sliced fruit inbetween the layers
✔️ any kind of cream, curd, or ganache between the layers or stuffed inside
✔️any kind of cheesecake, even baked cheesecakes

You see the pattern.
Dairy products and eggs that are NOT BAKED INTO the product, fresh sliced fruit or herb garnishments that aren't cooked into the product.

We are gearing up to launch kids cooking classes at Landgraf's Red Barn. Would like your input on what series you would be interested in.

I am hoping to bring in some guest cooks to the series as well

Taking my home size recipes and making big batches and trying some new recipes.
A big bunch going to church for Easter service. And I guess I will leave some for my family🤣

Breakfast Casserole, Blueberry Bread Pudding, Cherry Coffee Cake. Blueberry Coffee Cake, Cinnamon Rolls, and Peach Crumb Rolls.😋

Don't pay attention to that little missing cinnamon roll.... quality control😂
