TECH TUESDAY TIP: An "Autocorrect" Secret for iPhone Users

Think of this as creating your own personal dictionary shortcuts. You can tell your iPhone that whenever you type a short, unique code (like "&&"), it should automatically expand into a long piece of text (like your full email address). Here's how to set it up:

1. Open Settings.

2. Tap General, then tap Keyboard.

3. Select Text Replacement.

4. Tap the + (plus) button in the top right corner.

5. In the Phrase field, type the long text you want to use (e.g., your email).

6. In the Shortcut field, type the short code you want to trigger it (e.g., &&).

7. Tap Save.

Now, whenever you are typing in any app (Messages, Mail, etc.), just type && followed by a space, and your iPhone will automatically swap it for your full email address!

TECH TUESDAY TIP: The Magic iPhone Back Tap Trick

Instead of hunting through your menus to find your flashlight, pull up your digital credit card, or take a quick screenshot, you can simply tap the back of your phone. Here's how to set it up:

1. Open your Settings app.

2. Scroll down and tap Accessibility.

3. Tap Touch.

4. Scroll to the very bottom and select Back Tap. From here, you can choose an action for a Double Tap and a Triple Tap.
