Today's Tech Tuesday Tip: Adjusting the Mic Mode on Your Samsung Galaxy

To change your device's mic mode during a call, swipe down from the top of the screen with two fingers then tap on Mic mode. You can then select from following options:

• Standard: includes minimal audio filtering

• Voice focus: includes increased audio filtering so you can focus on the caller’s voice

• Full spectrum: captures voice and background sounds

The Trevor Project is gathering data about the needs and experiences of LGBTQ+ young people through its National Survey on LGBTQ+ Youth. The survey helps inform the ways we support LGBTQ+ young people, including: policies, funding, and mental health programs. Today's Tech Tuesday Tip: A Point to Remember w/ Microsoft

Did you know that Word and Outlook, by default, do not spell-check words in all caps. This peculiarity may be remedied, however.

First, in either program, click on Options under the File menu. Next, on the left-hand side of the options dialog, click on Proofing. Lastly, uncheck the box next to Ignore Words in UPPERCASE...
..BECAUSE NO ONE LIKES A TYPOO!

Spacebar -- play/pause the video

M -- mute/unmute the video

Left/Right arrow keys -- skip backward/forward 5 seconds

J -- skip backward 10 seconds

L -- skip forward 10 seconds
-- while the video is paused, skip to the next frame

, -- while the video is paused, go back to the previous frame

> -- speed up the video playback rate

< -- slow down the video playback rate

Home/End keys -- skip to the beginning/last seconds of the video

Up/Down arrow keys -- increase/decrease volume 5%

/ -- go to search box

F -- activate full screen; if full screen mode is enabled, press F again or press escape to exit full screen mode

C -- activate closed captions and subtitles if available; to hide captions and subtitles, press C again

Shift+N -- move to the next video; if you're using a playlist, will go to the next video of the playlist; if not using a playlist, it will move to the next YouTube suggested video

I -- open the Miniplayer mode
