We make plans daily on what we're going to do. Where we're going. Nothing wrong with making plans, but always preparing to adjust if our Heavenly Father has different plans for our day as He sees fit.

As Christians, only the Lord directs our steps. We trust Him and His plans for us.

Reference Scriptures:
The steps of a man are established by the Lord, And He delights in his way. Psalm 37:23 NASB1995

This unique family-friendly event takes you through the beautiful Historic neighborhood in Downtown Hattiesburg and features a course lined with super soakers. The highlight? A refreshing blast from the Hattiesburg Fire Department as you cross the big finish line! 🚒✨

Best of all, 100% of the proceeds directly support Ddembe Ministries, which provides loving care, education, and hope to widows, destitute mothers, and vulnerable children in Jinja, Uganda. 🇺🇬❤️

🏃‍♂️Both races will offer same-day registration, but runners who sign up after August 7th are not guaranteed a t-shirt. 🎽

Packet pickup will be on Friday, September 25th, at RARE Design, located at 127 Buschman Street, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Packets may also be picked up from 6:00 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. on race day at Town Square Park.

🏅For the 5k, awards will be given to the overall male and female, as well as the top male and female finishers in each age group. The top finisher overall in the 1-Mile will receive an award.

The Hebrew title of Psalm 46: To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of the sons of Korah. A Song of Alamoth.

The sons of Korah were Levites, from the family of Kohath. They were a part of the musical aspect of temple worship in David's time. See 2 Chronicles 20:19.

Alamoth is possibly tied to an high- pitched stringed instrument. See 1 Chronicles 15:20.

Verse 1-3) God is our refuge. Our protector. He always there for his people in times of trouble. The only God that is present in our lives and will be right there to provide strength and help.

The psalmist has no reason to be afraid. Even if a natural disaster occurs. Just as God took care of Israel during their exile from Egypt. He surely will take care of His people now. His promises to His people are everlasting.
