Why hire a planner?
Wedding and/or event planning is HARD. It’s mentally exhausting to have to think of every detail. I want to make sure you get to enjoy your day with the ease and peace of mind that comes with knowing someone has your back and is there for you. As your planner, I will handle all vendor communication and scheduling. Set up appointments, consultations and tastings for you as well as send you reminders about upcoming appointments. I offer design services and can help you visually create a wedding or party straight off your Pinterest page! Anything you can think of, I am here for YOU!
How do I book PLM Events? What’s your process?
The first thing you should do is visit my page and make sure you’ve looked under the services tab. Try to choose which package best serves you and shoot me an email, PM or text message inquiring about services. The first thing I will do is set up a Zoom or in person consultation to ensure I’m the right fit for you. After we’ve been introduced and you’ve locked in your package, I will require a contract to be signed and a 50% deposit to reserve your date and let me know you’re serious about planning. Last, of course, we get to work!
What budgets do you work with?
I am here to be the person I wish I had. I am starting this business in a small town where I know this sort of thing isn’t the most sought after service. For that reason, I am here to fit any and all budgets. I do respectfully ask for any potential client to not try and negotiate pricing/imply my prices are too high. A lot of time goes into this sort of service and, your wedding or event budget should be equipped to take on a planner/coordinator if you’d like to hire me. It is my personal belief that, you can’t put a price on peace of mind, especially not on big days.
I already have my vendors scheduled and my aesthetic picked out. I even have my decor bought. What if I just need a “day of” manager and someone to help set up?
I can absolutely do that for you. Shoot me an email and we can discuss pricing, I would be happy to set up an event timeline for you and be there to handle the vendors and help make your venue beautiful while you, your family and friends enjoy the festivities of the day!
My friend planned a wedding before and wants to help me for free, why should I hire you instead?
I’ll try to keep this answer as short and sweet as possible. So often this sort of thing doesn’t end well, your friends and family should be guests only at your wedding or parties. Unless a friend or family member owns a planning business and wants to help you as a gift, I don’t recommend this sort of thing. I’m happy to be that neutral party that just wants to see everyone have a fantastic event!
What other “events” does PLM plan/coordinate?
Anything you can think of, I’m here for YOU! You need some help with your kid’s sweet 16, I can help. Your church wants to organize a community event to bring more people in? I can help. You have no idea how to plan for your best friend’s baby shower…let me take that load, you girls have fun! Any event or gathering that you’d like to fully enjoy and be present at while someone else handles the busy work, is a job I’d be more than happy to do.
