8/8/25. Today has been amazing! Thank you to everyone who stopped by today to wish me a happy work anniversary, phone calls and messages. 37 years of doing what I truly love! I’ve added a few photos from throughout the years.

Also, today would have been my parents 75th anniversary which also happened to be the day Whataburger started in Corpus Christi.

Today, 8/8, has been a great day!

Everyone who knows me knows that I really, really like ribbon.

Well, I just received some ribbon that I really, truly love 💕! I couldn’t resist this purchase. This just matches ME and my business so well.

During the summer months, I start preparing for this homecoming season. Between homecoming and Jacksboro’s sesquicentennial celebrations, I need to be as prepared as possible. I can’t wait to get this into my cutting machine!

I was blessed today with 4 boxes of vases. Many thanks to my thoughtful friends and customers. I can use these vases for many things ~ sometimes to store extra flowers, sometimes to send a bridal bouquet out in water or if they are in great condition, I send them out in an arrangement with a few more flowers. Once again, thank you!!

Happy Mother’s Day!

Wishing everyone a fantastic day today.

I could not have had a more stress free work week without my fantastic helpers.
Ms Vanesa helped keep me organized during the week helping with plants and dethroning roses as we visited. Susan took over the phone lines and greeting customers along with her sweet Gizmo. Danny and Aranza delivered all day long on Friday and then Laurie came in with margaritas Friday evening and helped all day Saturday. Plants, party flowers, Prom and Mother’s Day orders were all successfully picked up or delivered. Susan, Laurie and I came home to Dan making tacos for our evening meal.

Today will be a relaxing day for me as Dan finally has a chance to mow the lawn after the many, many inches of rain we have had but we are not complaining about.

On this Mother’s Day especially, my heart 💜 is missing my mom. She would have enjoyed being treated like a queen by her children and grandchildren today with love, hugs, food, flowers and, of course, dessert.
