The Tishomingo County Forestry Association will hold their 2nd Educational Forestry Landowner Meeting of 2025 on Thursday, June 5 at The Place on Front (Downtown Iuka) beginning at 6:30 p.m. (102 Front Street, Iuka, MS)

James Callicutt, MSU Extension Forestry Specialist will present the program on “Habitat and Predator Management for Gamebirds.”

If you have rented the venue this past year and took the light blue table runners. Could you please return. Also there was a gold metal heart on a pedestal and a gold metal gift sign. I don't check this stuff out to you but let you use my stuff in an honor system. If you didnt bring it. Don't take it.

At the Event place I've tried to keep the price down, in order to keep the rent affordable. But sadly, I am 72 and getting slower. I can no longer work at the speed I've been going at for the last 2 years I've had to hire help to clean after events therefore, I need to add a cleaning fee. If you've already booked a spot, it will remain at the rate I quoted to you but for any, beginning today, there will be a $75 cleaning fee. Thank you to everyone who has trusted me and used my venue

Continued renovations. Bought building on a Thursday ( 2 years ago) and started renting on Saturday. More and more things were brought in and cluttered closets. Now it's time to " fix" those closets. Pulled up some nasty carpets with mold underneath. ( old) from when there was a shower in building. It's a time consuming job but very satisfying. All the carpet is up. Thanks to Sid Whitehurst and Jimmy Nelson. I'm trying my best not to " pull" on stuff til my arm and both wrists heal. I stayed and painted. Tm will be figuring what to do with floor. No flooring at this time. But I want it to just be clean and easy to clean. I'll be glad when I can downsize the amount of items I have and just keep the most used ones. Got 2 more days. Event on Saturday.
