Hotel Ezra Cornell is an annual, weekend-long educational conference hosted by the students of the Cornell School of Hotel Administration for leaders of the hospitality industry. Comprised of educational seminars, leisure activities, and food and beverage events, the weekend strikes a thoughtful balance between education and entertainment. The purpose of the weekend is for students to practice the skills they have learned in the classroom and to showcase their talents to industry professionals. Every career in hospitality starts with a reason: a meal, a mentor, a moment that made someone choose this industry. For more than a century, HEC has been handed from one class of Hotelies to the next, each board adding something new while keeping the heart intact. This April, join industry leaders, alumni, and students in Ithaca for a weekend of inspiring speakers, exceptional food and beverage, and meaningful connection, all exploring how to embrace what's new while staying true to the craft, the care, and the human connection that make hospitality endure.

Early bird pricing runs now through Nov. 14, 2026:
Attendee: $750 (increases to $900 after Nov. 14)
Attendee with Guest: $700 per guest (increases to $850 after Nov. 14)
Young alumni pricing is available for Cornell undergraduate Classes of 2016–2026

To celebrate the upcoming 101st Annual Hotel Ezra Cornell Conference, we’re raising a glass with a festive Holiday Spritz made using the HEC 100 commemorative Ch*****ne!

Holiday Spritz Recipe:
3 oz Prosecco or sparkling w**e
1 oz St-Germain (elderflower liqueur)
1 oz pomegranate juice
1 oz club soda
Garnish: pomegranate seeds + rosemary sprig

We were so excited to announce this year’s HEC 101 philanthropic partner, “Food Education Fund” (FEF) in November at the Hotelie Hall of Fame. During the weekend, we had the opportunity to meet with members from the organization and hear about their mission to teach students from Title I schools important skills such as career development, culinary skills, and offers them experiences to be successful in the workforce.
