OGFF will be one week of weird, wacky whimsical events (art, activities, and more).

I just saw Crankie Cabaret at The Cherry Arts (a show by Lilypad Puppet Theatre) and if you haven't seen it yet, you gotta go! It's hilarious, beautiful and you'll see lots of former Wedding Show cast members! They just added a new date and if you're lucky they won't have sold out yet...

Got weekend plans?  YOU DO NOW! You’re coming to our wedding right? (August 1st and 2nd)
We’re holding a happy hour at Ports of New York  at 6pm with a bit of a meet and greet. Grab a bottle of wine, say “hi” to some new and old friends and then follow us over to The Cherry for the wedding ceremony. We’re doing a labyrinth AND a Quaker-inspired ceremony. That means we wander on our separate paths through our friends and family, eventually finding out way into the middle of a circle where you all surround us with your love. Then you’ll be invited to share a blessing, a lesson, a poem, or a story. Feel free to prepare something to say! The ceremony doesn’t involve exchanging of rings or vows, it is all about being supported by our community, so we need you there for that support!

You are invited to the Wedding of Claire and Margo, July 26th, 2025 (and August 1st and 2nd) at The Cherry Arts. It's a wedding with a cabaret show...so there's an opportunity for you to get on stage, strut your stuff and ham it up if you're that sort of person.
The happy hour is at 6pm and the wedding starts at 6:30pm. RSVP in advance so that we can get enough food for everyone...or if you just aren't that organized, show up on time and get a ticket at the door.

We’re keeping this short and sweet... We’ve got the jitters and we just can’t sleep because our wedding is THIS WEEKEND (Saturday, July 26th). There’s so much to do to get ready still with dress alterations, catering and writing our vows.
But the thing that’s really keeping us up is wondering if you’ll be there! We just can’t imagine getting married with YOU there to celebrate with us.

We have scheduled a cocktail hour at Ports of New York form 6pm-6:30pm. The ceremony starts at 6:30pm over at The Cherry Arts. There will be a cabaret show (hosted by Claire) at 7pm and the party starts at 8pm with dessert and a dance party. See you there?

The Wedding, which is only 12 days away...is labyrinth themed. (In case you want to start planning).
Flipping through a coffee table book all about labyrinths, I came across a page about weddings. The couple enters the labyrinth separately and walks their own path to arrive in the middle, where they meet. The ceremony happens and life starts anew with them exiting together and rejoining their community.
It sounds beautiful to take the time to symbolically witness two people coming together from their independent past lives and bringing with them all that has happened before.
Then again, it provides a perfect space for physical comedy, reenacting live moments and hearing from family members who were on the early part of that journey...

So we're just putting all of our favorite/new traditions together for the 3rd season of The Wedding Show.
We'll have the usual quaker-inspired ceremony, where guests are invited to speak if they feel so moved, and The Brides will walk the labyrinth to find each other.
